We used bricks to match the house. The joints of the bricks are filled with "setting sand" which helps to prevent weeds. In the corner is a magnificent "Amelanchier" which gives an instant "WOW" to the corner of the garden.

Everything has been cleaned and then the sleepers are painted with 2 coats of neutral oil to enhance and protect the wood.

We added bricks to match the path around the bottom of the planter to make cutting the grass easier. This has been replanted with the clients plants, that were in lots of pots, with an additional Magnolia

Once more plants are introduced these borders will be full of colour and interest all year around, we re-used as many of the clients plants as possible and introduced a few more mature shrubs. They can then take their time and find the plants that they really like to fill up the borders- with a collection of recommendations (of course!)
